About the role
Vinova are working with a leading renewable energy developer, owner and operator to appoint a Community Engagement Manager. Our client is one of Australia’s most active independent players across solar and battery storage projects.
You will work closely with the cross-functional teams to lead best practice engagement across the full project lifecycle. From early stage origination through to operations, you will act as the trusted advisor on all community matters.
Duties
* Build and lead community engagement strategy across multiple renewable and storage projects
* Guide Development teams through early stakeholder outreach with landholders, councils and community groups
* Create clear, practical communication materials including fact sheets, newsletters and Q&A packs
* Design and manage community benefit share programs with clear reporting and risk control
Skill/experience
* Strong background in community engagement within renewable energy, infrastructure or environmental sectors
* Knowledge of engagement frameworks and best practice across QLD, NSW, VIC and SA
* Experience managing complex stakeholder environments across regional communities
* High level stakeholder management, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
* Open and unrestricted driver licence with ability to travel to regional sites
