This role gives you real ownership across bidding, constraints, settlements and compliance in both the NEM and WEM. You will directly influence revenue outcomes across a diversified portfolio of wind, solar and BESS assets.
You will build deep capability across storage optimisation, energy market participation and FCAS performance. Exposure to both generation and battery assets across two markets will significantly strengthen your long term value in the Australian energy sector.
With continued portfolio growth and acquisition activity, you will also gain experience supporting asset onboarding, registration transfers and licensing processes. The blend of operational responsibility and commercial exposure will position you strongly for future leadership progression.
About the role
Vinova are working with a leading renewable energy owner operator backed by institutional capital. Our client has a growing portfolio of utility scale wind, solar and BESS assets operating across Australia’s major electricity markets.
Reporting to Commercial Leadership, you will work closely with Finance, Asset Management and external market service providers. You will take ownership of market settlements, bidding performance analysis and compliance oversight, while supporting revenue optimisation across generation and storage assets.
This role sits within the Operations function and will also support asset acquisitions and integration activities as the portfolio expands.
Duties

Own energy and FCAS settlements across wind, solar and BESS assets

Execute and review bidding strategy and autobid performance

Analyse constraints, pricing drivers and revenue outcomes

Manage compliance under market rules, PPAs and connection agreements
Skills and experience

Strong understanding of the NEM, WEM exposure advantageous

Experience across bidding, constraint analysis and revenue optimisation

Advanced Excel and SQL capability with ability to automate reporting

Experience with settlements and market registration processes

Knowledge of generator and BESS compliance frameworks
