Senior Project Manager – Infrastructure Audit
Location: 80% travel across NSW, VIC and ACT
Duration: 6-month contract + possible extension
About the role:
Vinova are working with a leading energy provider in Australia who have multiple power generation asset. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the business on an initial 6 month contract. This role will lead a comprehensive audit across their portfolio, you will lead and drive this project forward.
This position will require frequent travel to multiple sites across the regions to ensure the audit is succesful, once completed then you will be involved in driving the changes needed through construction.
The situation:
This organisation manages a large spread of generation, storage, and assets, many of which are ageing or in complex environments. We need someone to design and lead a structured audit, bring visibility to key risks, and guide future works from discovery all the way to delivery.
The role:

Design the audit methodology and scope

Travel extensively to visit sites across NSW, VIC and ACT (approx. 80% of time)

Engage with on-site teams to identify issues, gaps, and potential risks

Develop a comprehensive risk register across all assets

Run post-audit workshops to present findings and shape next steps

Work closely with internal stakeholders, engineering teams, and regulatory contacts

Provide strategic input through to implementation and delivery
Ideal background:
-
Strong experience leading projects in complex, regulated environments

Background in large scale energy infrastructure, utilities, water infrastructure, or civil projects

Excellent communication skills – able to influence at site level and boardroom level

Experience developing risk registers and driving safety-led asset management

Willing to spend significant time in regional areas
