The role offers hybrid working and the opportunity to develop valuable experience across legal operations, billing, systems and wider team support.

About the role

You’ll provide day-to-day administrative support to the Legal team, with billing and invoice management forming a key part of your responsibilities.

You’ll work across the business and with external suppliers to ensure invoices, purchase orders and related processes are managed accurately and efficiently.

Alongside billing, you’ll provide broader administrative support and help ensure the team remains organised and operates effectively.

Duties

  • Manage invoices, purchase orders and related billing processes

  • Resolve billing queries with internal teams and external suppliers

  • Coordinate monthly accruals and maintain accurate, audit-ready records

  • Support diaries, meetings, documents, expenses, travel and wider team administration

Skills & experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative or team support role, ideally within legal or professional services

  • Exposure to billing, invoicing, accounts payable or similar processes

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Confidence with systems and Excel; ERP system experience is advantageous but not essential

  • Ability to manage confidential information and balance multiple priorities

Benefits

  • Hybrid working from a Sydney-based office

  • Join a collaborative and well-supported team

  • Build experience across legal operations and billing

  • Broaden your responsibilities beyond traditional administration

  • Work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders

Company & culture

Our client is an established organisation with a professional and collaborative working environment.

You’ll join a supportive team where people are trusted to take ownership of their responsibilities and work closely with colleagues across the wider business. The environment will suit someone proactive, organised and comfortable working autonomously while still enjoying being part of a team.
