About the role
Vinova are partnering with a leading energy business delivering innovative solar, battery energy storage and electrical infrastructure projects across Australia.
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you’ll support the engineering and delivery of a diverse portfolio of behind-the-meter and front of the meter energy projects. Working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants and clients, you’ll help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high technical standard.
This opportunity would suit a recent Electrical Engineering graduate, an Electrical Engineer looking to move into project delivery, or an early-career Project Engineer wanting broader exposure across renewable energy and electrical infrastructure projects.
Duties
- Support the engineering and delivery of solar, battery and electrical infrastructure projects.
- Assist with technical specifications, procurement activities and tender documentation.
- Review electrical designs and contractor deliverables.
- Coordinate consultants, suppliers and subcontractors throughout project delivery.
- Support construction, commissioning and project handover.
- Monitor project progress and help resolve technical issues.
- Ensure projects comply with relevant standards, network requirements and safety obligations.
Skills & Experience
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Graduate through to 3+ years’ experience within energy, power, utilities, electrical infrastructure or renewable energy.
- Strong technical aptitude and an interest in project delivery.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive attitude, curiosity to learn and a desire to build a career in the energy sector.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
